Lovely small bar serving the best and freshest cicchetti we could find. The locals use it which says it all.
Seems we got off the vaporetto with the going home office crowd, so we just followed them, and found the packed Basego. Great value drinks and a fantastic range of cicchetti. Only problem is the temptation to stay all night.
We went there to have the aperol spritz and we had some of their wonderful Venetian tapas, it was a very nice surprise also the staff was nice and welcoming.A lot of Venetian people there.
It’s a nice little wine bar with delicious open faced sandwiches. It’s very hard to find as Google Maps don’t work in Venice.
We found this as we were walking by. It was awesome for a quick snack that could have turned into dinner it was so good.The bread was fresh and all the meats and cheeses were great.Enjoyed with wine and a spritz.
Staying nearby, we walked by and noticed lots of locals and there were 4 tables outside in the campo. Cichettis were fresh and well prepared especially those with fish. Reasonably priced and make a great spritz
