Much nicer than the area around St Marks square. More locals and fewer tourists. Shops and restaurants are plentiful with good qualty produce. The Strada Nuova was transformed into a Christmas market on December 19th which was very well worth a leisurely browse.
We had a family dinner here and felt the food, the service and the price were all excellent for a mid priced restaurant in a serious tourist spot. Excellent pasta and vegetable plates.
As others have said service is average, but attentive. The seafood dishes are very nice though. I had Seafood with Spaghetti, Jane had Ham and Cheese pasta. Good price and easy. Would eat there again.
Our diner was above expectation. This small place offers very decent local dishes. We had lasagna, seafood spaghetti and tiramisu. The seafood is fresh and the price reasonable.
It’s a bit quieter and the prices of food and drink better value.It’s very central for the main sights.
This was a really nice risotto! Grappa is also excellent. Friendly english speeking staff. Overall pleasant experience. Worth a visit.
