You can buy lots of different bakeries, from which the quality is comparable to some good French bakeries. It is central in Tokayama.But you cannot eat there, just for take away.
Items are French-Japanese fusion & quite delicious. I wish we had this bakery in NY. No room for eating on premises, unfortunately; can only purchase items to take away. Opens at 10:00.
Good place to buy your breakfast of lunch to go. Plenty of choices in all kinds of pastries and bread. Unfortunately no place to sit and have a coffee or tea.
Divine early morning pastries! Wide selection from breads, through meat and cheese options, fruit based etc
Best bread in takayama ever! And I loved the one with Gouda Cheese inside むむむ! The people working there are very kind and make delicious bread. Definitely a must if you are in town.
