About
We are the first cafe in Takayama-city opened since in the year of 1951, one year after when the coffee bean import was started. Enjoy fresh and flavorful nell drip coffee brewed by the "master", the owner of the cafe. Try variety of sweets, and sandwiches made out of seasonal fruits, vegetables, milk freshly produced in local farm. The interior of the house preserves the classic and cozy atmosphere as original. The cafe opens from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm, and the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, and coffee-break for local neighbors and visitors from the world. Great atmosphere, warm staff, food was delicious and the best coffee in Takayama. We sat down and had a delicious breakfast in a relaxed cafe and felt fortified for a day of touring.
jazz music and the old-fashioned layout takes you back to 1950 in Paris. Intensely roasted coffee and sweet cheese cake. Lemonade is homemade with lemon juice and gom syrup according to your taste. We loved it as a break from sightseeing
