With beautiful views out into the natural forest setting relax and enjoy a coffee, sweets or gourmet hot sandwiches. The forest outside changes with each season from a snow covered white winter setting to the relaxing cool green growth in Summer. With each season comes a variety of fauna that visit the cafe. From woodpeckers and kingfishers in Winter to the Ezo Squirrels that play and raise their young in the spring and Summer. There is a adjoining bird hide to the cafe from which you can view and photograph without disturbing the animals and without the barrier of glass. Our food speciality is panini pressed hot sandwiches all using a tasty fresh baguette and a variety of gourmet ingredients with a focus on Hokkaido produce. Our pickles are handmade and change seasonally. We also bake all our cupcakes in-house fresh everyday. On the drinks side we use great beans from small local specialty roaster. We coffee we specialise in a hand drip style coffee as well as espresso based coffee. We carry some great beers, Hitachino Nest Beer, by a small Japanese Brewery. For a cold non-alcoholic drink we have our handmade strawberry soda and ginger beer. Lunch specials daily from 11am - 2:30pm.
