Murphys Irish Bar in Akashi, Hyogo has been around since 1993. It is the first Irish Bar to be opened by an Irishman in Japan. It has a great atmosphere with international and Japanese staff. Akashi is a short train ride (15 mins) from Kobes main Sannomiya station. The bar is fully stocked with around 400 different types of alcohol including 150 whiskies from all over the world, including more than 40 Irish whiskies.
