About
Ishizue offers approximately 1,500 different shochus, all of which are produced in Kagoshima Prefecture. 80% are imo (sweet potato), 15% are kokuto (sugar cane), and the remaining 5% are kome (rice), mugi (barley), and soba (buckwheat). Qualified staff can recommend labels based on your preferences (fruity, strong, easy-to-drink, etc.) and will be more than happy to answer any questions (in Japanese or English) you may have about shochu, one of Japans national drinks.
