If you are staying in this area, check this place out. The burgers were good and they have an English menu. The only downside (for people sensitive to cigarette smoke, anyway) is that the entire restaurant seems to be a smoking area.
Found this place by accident while walking to Takeda station. Coffee is excellent, both the fish burger and hamburger were good. My fiancee and I are enjoying this on a rainy day in Kyoto. For lunch, burger, fries, and coffee for 1000 yen.
