The sushi here was fantastic; super fresh and delicious ingredients. It is a lovely place run by a couple and it was fun to watch it being prepared. We ate slightly after closing time and were not rushed. A lovely spot.
On my quest to find a traditional Kyoto style sushi, I ended with this quaint spot in Gion. I ordered mackerel,inari & unagi, ALL were beyond delicious! The ambience was quite cozy and the food was immensely flavorful!
