What is Kisshokaryo? Kisshokaryo is a cafe in Kyoto that specializes in Japanese and Western sweets and desserts. We also sell desserts made with our home-made roasted soy flour, such as cakes and green tea flavor jams, as well as other sweet treats made with organic, chemical-free ingredients. On the 1st floor, in addition to our home-made roasted soy flour, we display and sell cakes that have been baked in store using the freshest fruits and the finest ingredients. On the 2nd floor, you will find our tea room where we offer various "Kyoto" style desserts such as warabi-mochi which is one of the most popular sweets in Kyoto and a "Matcha" green tea dessert platter as well as various types of cakes. Moreover, we also have Matcha green tea from local Kyoto tea producers that customers can try their hands at making tea by themselves if desired. Additionally free Wi-Fi is also available.
