Our Kyoto Uji matcha and soy milk baumkuchen, Kyo-baum. Our baumkuchen uses Kyoto's famous Uji matcha and Kyoto-produced soy milk, and is baked and layered to become soft and moist. The sponge dough is created from Kyoto-produced soy milk and melt-in-the-mouth Japanese flour, layered with matcha dough made from Uji matcha and green tea. Our baumkuchen is soft, moist and fluffy. The ground floor is spacious and bright for shopping, and the second floor offers a quiet atmosphere after the bustling Kiyomizuzaka slope. We also stock Kyo-baums with special designs, only available at the Kiyomizu store. Access Fifteen minutes from Kyoto Station to the Gojozaka bus stop on the Kyoto City bus, and ten minutes on foot from Gojozaka.
