Coffee clamp needs a little persistence to find – but is in fact quite near to Nijo Castle and is well worth the effort to discover, hidden down a little alley way.
It’s a little bit hidden but they prepare a delicious drip coffee (entirely hand made). The toast is great too.
Myself and my partner both loved this place for breakfast, it’s a hidden gem in Kyoto that’s for sure!
If they didn’t allow smoking, I would’ve given it an excellent rating. It’s a cool little place with good coffee but it is so tiny that one person smoking ruins the experience.
