The Satsuki Restaurant is located right in the heart of Kyoto. The Satsuki serves Traditional Kyoto Cuisine, with a variety of fish and vegetables. It was founded by former owner, Reiko Shibata and taken over to her daughter, Sachiko Shibata. It is now a very inviting, warm and cosy place, to enjoy a meal with your colleagues and friends in pleasant surroundings. The staff are efficient friendly and helpful and always at hand. The summers in Kyoto get quite hot and humid, so people thought of the best way to take advantages of the cool breeze which blows along the river. On evenings from the starts of May until the end of September every year, our guests can have their meals outside on Noryo-Yuka(Terrace). The terrace overlooks the river and there is a beautiful view of the distant Mountain, while watching the light getting dimmer, as the dusk drops slowly with a nice gentle breeze in the evening. When it rains, our guests enjoy their meals and drinks inside of the restaurant.
