Established in 1856, Shimogamosaryo has a history of more than 160 years. It is located in Shimogamo, one of Kyoto’s most historic and scenic areas and the home of Shimogamo Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its own beautiful garden, the restaurant itself symbolized Kyoto. We are certain that you will enjoy our traditional yet innovative Kyoto-style dishes, which are inspired by the changes of the four seasons. “One time, one counter” is a cherished belief derived from the spirit of Sado (traditional Japanese tea ceremony) that encapsulates our desire to give you a memorable and unique culinary experience.
