Nice small bar that’s well suited to relaxing with a few drinks /friends after the day. Not loud or energetic but nicely reserved. Predominately a spirits bar that can mix a few cocktails together if you ask.
We stumbled across this little bar while staying in the neighbourhood. We ended up having a lovely conversation with the friendly owner and some locals sitting around the bar.
Superb selection of local drinks. Extremely friendly barman, with deep local knowledge. Excellent service, and very nice atmosphere and beautifully decorated. A bit hidden in downtown area, but persevere and you will be thrilled to finish your evening in Kyoto here.
