Gyatei have two types restaurant. One is buffet, all you can eat Kyoto foods. We always have more than 30 kinds of dish. The other is sushi & set meal. We have Kyoto sake,too. Please enjoy.Details

Had lunch in the restaurant downstairs, not the buffet. The set menu with sushi, miso, local accompaniments and dessert was fabulous and reasonably priced. Sushi was really fresh and the local accompaniments were great. Also had one of their craft beers which was top notch.
Friendly staff, service is good, meal selection is limited to set menus, but the food is good. It’s not overly expensive and you don’t have to wait long for your food to come. WiFi is free and good coverage.

Good taste as expected especially the mackerel fish. Definitely, good to try. Have to wait 20-30 minutes. サバが美味しかった。?
