Excellent little quaint Cafe restaurant, 2 minutes away from the crowds of the main street. I had vegetarian curry and it was very tasty. Very much recommended.
This little gem off the beaten track was such a welcome break from the crowd. We sat in the garden out the back with only one other couple who were also enjoying the peace. The coffee was excellent and the sweets were delicious.
In total tranquility you can taste an unexpectedly good cappuccino and apricot cake or an ice cold coke and some sandwiches. Recommended for a short break to rest your hurting feet after a long stroll in Arashiyama!
Lovely little place. Had the vegetable curry and my husband had chicken katsu curry. Both were excellent and came with a great little side salad. Good service as well and an English menu was provided.
The only place in Japan where we found vegetarian food and really good coffee. Friendly couple owning the place. Arigato!!! 🙂
