We are the first restaurant with water flowing machines for [somen-nagashi] in the Kansai area. Somen noodles in the flowing water make everyone smile. Our [somen-nagashi (somen noodles flowing in round-shape water flowing machine)] restaurant is along the approach to [Omiwa-jinja Shrine], one of the oldest shrines in Japan which is getting popular as a power spot in recent years. We are in the Miwa area which is known as the birthplace of [Miwa Somen] with 1200 years of history and tradition. We serve hand-made somen noodles created with traditional ancient methods in a renovated old house. Each table is equipped with a very entertaining [round-shape flowing water machine], where you can enjoy catching noodles flowing in cold water with your chopsticks and taste. Cold [nagashi-somen] is one of the summer features in Japan. Your experience with this precious food culture unique in Japan will surely be a wonderful memory during your trip.
