Partner and I walked up the street and found Akakura Cafe. Small and setback hideaway. Friendly staff, good selection of delicious cakes, light meals and great coffee. Reasonably priced. Recommended if in the area.
There were all the usual offerings for non Japanese guests and vegetarian/vegan as well. People came in just for the coffee too!
Mulled wine a must, delicious cocktails, friendly staff, healthy plants and food menu awesome for quiche and desserts
The coffee is good. Staff were happy to prepare off-menu food for my toddler. Good place to start the day!
