Genova is probably the best ice cream parlour in Beppu.It’s bit pricey but quite good. The shop is usually open late so it is nice to have a scoop or two while strolling in the town.
Go for kurogoma (black sesame) and you won’t ever regret it. The taste is one-of-a-kind, but the price is a bit high tho. Matcha is ok, not recommend pumkin because it’s tasteless in my opinion
You don’t expect any kind of gelato place in this small city. This is run by a handsome old man and all the gelato is handmade. I can live in this city because of this gelato place.
