About
In the end of the Meiji era, A Rakugo storyteller "Bunnosuke Katsura II" spent the rest of his life at the tea-house located at Kodaiji Temple in Higashiyama, Kyoto. He inherited the shop and people had come to call it "Bunnosuke Chaya". The descendants of "Bunnosuke Katsura II" took over the tradition and established a head office in Osaka in 1965. Thereafter KEIHAN MALL invited us and we established our shop here. We make and serve healthy & tasty traditional Kyoto-style sweets in our shops. We take ingredients seriously and are committed to home-made as to red bean paste, bracken cakes, agar, rice-flour balls, Matcha syrup and so on. Thanks to our customers' patronage and support, Bunnosuke Chaya is loved for more than one hundred years. We hope you will enjoy our taste!!
