About
British-owned and inspired by the traditional home-style recipes of the United Kingdom, Captain Cook is truly "a little Britain in Tokyo". Captain Cook is a British restaurant located in Tokyos upmarket Hiroo district, established in 2015 with an aim to improve the image of British food abroad, as well as to introduce the Japanese public to the cuisine of the United Kingdom. The venue itself was created as Captain Cooks own residence with guests invited to eat, drink and enjoy while he was away on yet another voyage of discovery. The menu was inspired by grandmother's recipes of the owner, who comes from England, as well as some dishes that are popular in countries and regions that share history of the British Empire, such as India, South East Asia and Middle East. Captain Cook Tokyo also promotes healthy eating and lifestyle, and that's the reason why the menu features a wide variety of gluten-free dishes, as well as some vegetarian options.Details

Really good brunch, a decent take on a full English breakfast. Plate is too small for the quantity of food, but that’s the only niggle. Great service and super friendly staff. Fun way to spend a Sunday morning.
