Yamanashi prefecture newly established the South Hall as Yamanashi Prefectural Fujisan World Heritage Center, which opened in June 2016. The center takes the lead in providing information on Fujisans outstanding universal value to many people visiting the World Heritage site Fujisan, and in preserving and managing the Site.
