Al-Quds is a great place to get a sampling of many local dishes. I’ve found it to be very reasonable priced.
This was recommended by a local and did not disappoint. Great babaganoush and hummus. We visited the Roman Theatre and were hungry. It was worth the 10 minute walk to get there.

This is an excellent place for authentic arab fare, the grilled meat, mansaf, knafeh were superb. very friendly staff, reasonably priced and great location in downtown amman, has an excellent old world charm about it a must visit in Amman
Good value for your meal but the food itself was just average. Maybe because I had the roasted chicken and not a local dish? The waiter who served us was friendly and funny.
