Yesterday, i was invited to try out this place to taste their signature items.The place is small, the owner is hospitable as for the waitress she was amazingly sweet , helpful, attentive, and alerted.Check below my experience:We had the following items- Hummus : Average taste- Batenjen moutabbal : Average taste- Fattouch : Same as my grandmama’s; homey with balanced flavor of dressing- Fish tajine: tasteless and the fish chunks weren’t fresh – Kebbet samak: Too much bulgur in the kebbe mix I couldn’t taste the fish plus the pieces were too oily – Shrimp croquettes: Small over fried bites of mashed potatoes filled with cheese i guess; that was what i tasted, until they informed us that we are having SHRIMP croquettes, shrimps were missing there.As for the big platter: 2jej fish were okShrimps were tasty i loved the batter Calamari weren’t fresh at allSardines weren’t clean Jarbide fish were goodFries needed more frying My overall experience was fine. All the seafoods are from frozen thing, not as fresh as i expected, they are all pane! But anyway the price are affrodable maybe worth the product being serve! Taste oily all the seafoods specialy the potato! Not reccomended!
“Great seafood for a very affordable price!”We were very surprised when we tried this restaurant in Choueifat.Arriving to this place you don’t expect such good food!You can see the chef cooking live, you feel his passion for creating new recipes.We had a seafood combo platter as well as Bezre fish, Fattoush, croquettes & mouttabal. We loved all the seafood! Really fresh and tasty! The sauces were great too!The croquettes were average. Unfortunately, we think the organization could have been different with seating areas on the lower floor instead of upstairs. Recommended!
