The shop design is very attractive. When you enter, you find the story of hilmi’s lemonade. I was surprised that the lemon ice cream was not that good, the taste of sugar is stronger that the lemon.
We all know that Lemonade is a part of any visit to Batroun. Hilmi’s is the best palce to enjoy a lemonade after a walk in old souks. The place is authentic and nicely decorated and the lemonade was tasty and refreshing.
When you’re in Batroun, whether tanning at the beach, wandering its old streets or having a seafood lunch/dinner there, you should visit Hilmi to drink and eat the most delicious and natural lemonade and ice cream. A small museum at the entrance will steal your breath and the photos hanged on their wall will time machine you through the history of Hilmi’s place and family story. You’ll bump into many tourists there. Great ambiance. Recommended.
We passed by to have a lemonade since it has to be a part of the visit to Batroun area.The place is very nice and it takes us back to the good old days of Lebanon.One just remark, it would have been better if a soft music from the old times is played in the house just to make it a perfect Lebanese Authentic theme and match with the concept, especially that a lot of tourists are present.
