What I like about this place is the location and atmosphere whereby u can see the sea and the airport and planes. Food is average .Service is very friendly and they open till late at night which is convenient for us when we need an opened cafe late at night .
Went to Grand Cafe for lunch , nice ambiance with a breathtaking view . Friendly waiters , As for food the lebanese mezze is amazing espically the kebbeh , hummus and sujuk .Personlly i prefer the traditional fattouch , the mixed grill cooked with perfection but the Arayes Kaftah needs to be a bit more cooked , Ending the lunch with refreshing fruits and some sweets and ofcourse a cup of coffee . Special thanks for the manager Hicham .
Absolutely loved the view and the atmosphere, cozy chill music and good vibes , the staff were amazing, the food is so good especially the ma2ane2 and the homos , the tabole was so fresh and juicy and as for the desert the mhalabeye is from another dimension.
I was invited to attend Rabih Saleme’s Oud Night. Grand Café is very spacious with an indoor and outdoor seating sections. In addition, the view is amazing. The ambience was very nice. I enjoyed the music played by Rabih. He performed Arabic and oriental music. The ambience was very nice.As for the food, my friend and I tried the following:- Tabboule and Fattouch: Good portion- Vine leaves: I really enjoyed them – Cheese rolls: They were a bit oily. – Batata Harra: Could be crispier. – Mtabbal and Hummu b thine: they are both tasty but I enjoyed the Mtabbal more than the Hummus. – Kebbe and Spinach fataye: they were a bit dry. – Grilled chicken platter: Good portion and tender meat and Taouk. We ended our night with some desserts. We tried:- Ashta and Asal Platter- Biscuit au Chocolat- Blueberry cheesecake- TiramissuThe presentation is simple and the desserts were mouthwatering. As for the service, it was good with attentive and energetic staff.
We were invited to this place. The view from there is breathtaking, i loved the location and the staff was very welcoming and responsive. The music was very nice, it was a live oud night, they played all the lebanese popular songs and this made out evening very pleasant. The food we got was very good, the tabbouleh, the kebbe, the hummus and wara2 3enab were delicious. The items we liked a little bit less were the taouk, it was a bit dry to our taste but still a good meal to order. And the Fattouch was not as good as the Tabbouleh.I would come back for sure for another great evening, with a great lebanese ambiance and yummy food!
