I think this place has been around for a while now, judging by the looks of the interior. Anyway, it took us a gruelling 1 1/2 hours drive to reach this place after a friend had ask us to meet him over, but oh my, was it worth the trip. Everything went well from A to Z. Quality was undeniable. To my delight we got served with fresh wasabi, my first try to be honest. I’m definitely coming back have i need to drive longer
The manager was a little “not nice”. Arrived at 7:30 yesterday and wanted to sit in the restaurant before it opened. Manager said to walk around dunes for a bit so we did that and ended up going to bartartine. Lousy customer service.

Nice and classy restaurant , great menu , tasty sushi , cosy atmosphere . Friendly staff with the ambience of Japan . I recommend it for sushi lovers . Will go back again for sure
Shogun – Verdun Dunes – June 2017Set Menu (Ramadan)Quality: Very good salmon quality. Juicy, fresh and well prepares.Taste 7/10: the food was good enough as expected, but everything was a bit too salty and could’ve been a lot better, for shogun at least. The chinese meal was however very good.Value for money: for this specific set menu the value for money was good enough, but in general shogun’s prices are high and a little overrated.Note: for some reason it was mandatory that both my friend and I order the formula. One formula per table and regular menu were not allowed, which was weird, viewing that it is not an open formula.
The Shogun sushi place verdun Dunes center. This is one of the eldest and the fanciest sushi places in Beirut. It serves delicious Japanese and the service is good. However the place is noisy and prices are high.
