We went to Al Diwan for a sunday family lunch. The place was packed. The staff are friendly. We ordered a variety of mezza dishes: hummus, fattoush, kebbe naye, batata harra, shanklish, hendbeh. All were good. The only thing that I didn’t like was the batata harra as it was very oily.The chicken shawarma platter was good and filling. However, the chicken was a bit dry. Prices are fair. Overall, good lebanese restaurant in Ashrafieh.
