One word: crunchy! I must say, the viennoiseries at Kassab are a delicacy. I tried the pain au chocolat and the pate levée feuilletée au fromage and was struck by the crunchiness. Try them heated for the cheese and the chocolate to melt. The taste is great: not too much butter, well stuffed and again, very crunchy. The vanilla mille-feuille and the ice cream are also a must try! This place has been open for nearly 90 years for a reason :)Must Try: Pain au Chocolat, Pate levée feuilletée au fromage ✔️Overall Experience: Very Good ✔️

Had the chance to try their croissants in a meeting. I tried the cheese, thyme, chocolate, and almond varieties. The notable thing about their croissants that they’re light with not so much butter. The cheese croissant had a tasty flavor, I couldn’t get enough of it. The thyme was good, they aren’t frugal on thyme yet they don’t use it in excess. I liked the almond croissant as well, which had the right amount of sugar (some places over saturate their almond croissants with sweetness). The chocolate was good.I’ve tasted good croissants at many places, but very few can manage to make the four tastes fine.

Best almond croissant I’ve ever had. This small pastry shop caters to all tastes with oriental and French confections. Certainly to try when in need for a sweet tooth fix.
