Once you eat farrouj zaghal especially the markouk sandwich, you will never like any other chicken sandwich.. the taste of the markouk with the garlic paste is simply the best!
The best mar2ou2 chicken sandwich! One of the very first Beirut street food! My childhood favourite place. Try it and you won’t regret it for sure.
We tried Zaghal Restaurant, Beirut after hearing a lot of positive feedbacks their, to be honest, the food and Service was average with affordable price, the overall ambiance was Calm, need improvement.
When a restaurant can survive for more than 30 years than this a definite sign that it is the best in town.. A super small place that serves one thing and one thing only..The best roasted chicken in town.. super juicy and tender, gr8 smell.. love to eat the markouk that they wrap their chicken in.. toum just perfect.. I highly recommend this place everyone should try it..
I know this place since I was a child! A small place that serve grilled chicken and grilled chicken sandwiches. Their sandwich is perfect and the best in beirut! Highly recommended

Definitely without doubt: the BEST roasted chicken in Beirut..As far as I know, they INVENTED the chicken bel mar2ou2.. and it is LEGENDARY.. the garlic paste they make isn’t any less either..Only if they were a bit cleaner they would be perfect..however, I grew up eating Zaghal’s chicken and never had I been poisoned though.Try it, especially the sandwiches..
