smell sahlab in holy month of ramadan in marelias street drive me to shami bakery’s but it wasn’t warm they warm them in microwave kellag was delicious and crunchy ashta with pistachio was ok best of them was the bread it was fresh and tasty there products little bit expensive
Down to earth place with humble staff membersWell displayed products and homemade itemsWhen in mar elias we have to make a stop just because someone smelled sahlab, and couldn’t resist it something I don’t come anywhere near trying!! first time, had a look inside (diet stuff, oats, dried fruits …) did not interest me much *at the time*Eventually we tried them couple of times and couple of more times double chocolate chip cookies delicious *they got a cranberry one but didn’t like it much* packaged boxes as well (came in handy on a visit) – sugar free stuffkaak zaatar was good, yanson I did not like it others loved it thoughdried fruits was good to snack on just that time (was craving it though im not into such snacking stuff)but i know where to buy them when i crave them again *especially liked the kiwi had to pick them out from the bag we bought* then the peachesSumac and thyme both had a strong and good flavor (filled in bags / kilo)realized you don’t have to be diabetic or on a diet to enjoy couple of their products Prices very reasonable
I love Al Shami. I always get toast and shoufan cookies different flavours. My favorites are the chocolate and cranberry ones. They are perfect for a quick snack. Overall, the place has a great healthy options. The shoufan cookies are delicious.
The place is located in the heart of Mar Elias. The place is clean and the people are friendly there. They have a big variety of ka3ek and healthy bread items.Thry have a great sa7lab.Prices are a little bit expensive but products are really good.
I once got ice cream shamiya from this place. It is good. I personally don’t really like it , but once I tasted it from this place, I liked it. I also tasted the icecream there. Honestly the prices for the ice cream overall are a bit expensive.
