The girl in the shop was sooo unfriendly and rude. There was no bread variety. The cheese croissants seems to be old maybe it was baked yesterday!Bad place for breakfast!

In a region of the world where you can find a bakery on every corner, Tusk is something completely different and deserves high praise for taking this risk of opening such a bakery. They offer something not available in the standard Lebanese bakery- starting all their breads and baked goods with sourdough. It’s not only healthier, it’s our heritage they are bringing back to life and the ways of traditional baking. The past is the only way to the future, and I believe Tusk nails it in this regard. Their salamouni loaf is out of this world, reminds me of the barn bread of Germany. Dense and yummy, made with heritage Lebanese grains and rye. And the cookies alone are worth stopping by to have a taste.

we had a tiny gathering late last weekjust few little home made items with drinks perfect staff members & service very clean bakery buttermilk bloomer wrapped in a paper bag he requested they cut in slicesevery slice had the same size of the other, very soft and delicious you can spread what ever you want on them (we went for jam&butter, nutella, louts cream spread, creme cheese & turkey) regardless what we had, it was just yummy baguette had a bit of a hard outer shell but a soft interior cut in circles we semi grilled some & used them for olive paste, tomato Bruschetta and left some soft & plain for humus dip their croissants are out of this world!! love the chocolate ones a lot glazed crust with generous filling price for quality is very affordable

Great Croissants to be short. I passed by this bakery Sunday morning and grabbed four croissants to go back home for breakfast. I chose the cheese, the zaatar, the rosemary & olives and the chocolate one. Those special croissants made of whole wheat sourdough bread whatever are yummy. Generously filled with premium quality ingredients. They are flaky and not chewy as real croissants should be. Even though they are not big in size but they are fulfilling and reasonably priced.

I went early morning today for fresh croissant and i had a happy face after then. Tried one zaatar, ine cheese and one chocolate. Taste is great and all are crispy enough on the outside, but the butter ratio is in the high and apparent. I am not saying i was counting calories, but i felt the exess butter moist on the inside. My favorite is clearly the cheese as it has a kind of feta thyme mix that makes it a special signature of the outlet. I enjoyed every bite of it. The zaatar is nice and the chocolate one is a bit too genrous in chocolate that it made it extra sweet. Overall super quality in an artisan sourdough bakery that makes you envy tasting anything you see.

I just love their sourdough and unique croissant dough, this place really knows how to make one enjoy eating sourdough, especially if you are not a fan. Their desserts are equally as good, the brownies are delicious.
