An great place for private gatherings – with a perfect view and very good service.I recommend you to try this place and I will definitely come back again !!
309 rooftop was picked to be our end of year brunch at work. The place is on the 11th floor and overlooks AUB and the sea. There are regular and high tables with stools. The outdoor area is very nice but was closed due to the changing weather.As for the food, the brunch included a basic selection of food like cheese, turkey, mini croissants, cheese and thyme pastries, omelette, potato cubes, butter and jam, toast, juices, etc.I personally enjoyed the Thyme pastry and the mini croissant the most since they were tender and tasty. That desserts were okay to good. I personally enjoyed the chocolate cake the most but the crepe rolls and the profiteroles were average.Sadly, the brunch wasn’t that diversified as expected.The 3.0 Rate is for the view and a few items from the brunch.
Terrible food, terrible serviceIve been a few times because its just a few steps away from my university, yet i always regret itI’ve had a salad, i’ve had many of the platters, many of the drinks, everything was bad except the peach smoothie. The waiters and waitresses are nice but the service is unbelievably slow even if you’re just asking for the bill. And now, there is a minimum charge of 10$ for every hour you sit there which is just pathetic as it is always half empty anyway. Why would they open in a place where their main customers are going to be students yet still expect 10$/per hour?
My first time walking into this outlet. Went there for a friend’s birthday gathering around 20 people. We had the whole rooftop for us – I didn’t expect it to be this small. The view is nice but we couldn’t really enjoy it because it was raining and the glass was dirty from the outside.Now for the service, it was extremly slow. We waited about 50 minutes to get our dishes and they were cold and tasteless. The philly steak sandwish was terrible. The chicken pesto pasta was good but cold. The scallopini linguini was bad. The baklava-chicken were good, and the ‘The French’ shot was tasty.The fries however were terrible.The meal and service were overall disappointing and need a lot of improvement.On the bright side, the ‘formula’ in the end was 20 000 LBP per person – no matter what we ordered, which made it really affordable and fair for what we got.The background music was fun.Overall my experience was average.
309 has a nice location near AUB. The view form up there is amazing especially at sunset. The prices are fair and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Very nice location near AUB university, good food and drink the rooftop is special with his large view panoramic. Good music. Nice atmosphere , nice stuff and friendly, raisonnable price . The hotel very good and clean.
