One of the best patissries in Beirut. Don’t expect modern cake designs and flavors. The place offers you a decent tasteful cakes at a very reasonable price. Petit fours are the best in whole Lebanon, choclate is also amazing. Croissant is also very tasty. You should also try the maamoul during eid. Highly recommended.
I have known this place since I was a child, and it feels good to see this place still standing there. Carla was very famous for its Éclair and petit fours. The place didn’t evolve much since the nineties; the designs and package are still the saw which gives some sort of a vintage. The same applies for the taste and quality. Do not expect something ultra-modern when you step there, but expect some authenticity. Last week I had a mousse au chocolat cake from Carla and it tasted really good.
I love love love Patisserie Carla. My teta (grandmother) used to bring me chocolate eclaires when I was young from this Patisserie. And till today, they have the same taste. Reminds me of my childhood in every bite. Also, I adore how they kept their old sign and boxes design. Old is gold! Great desserts, great prices.
