last time i ate it was not so good. but i usually have good experiences there. it is ideal in winter, because of the type of food. and it is ideal in summer because of the small terrace.

We went for dinner last night with a friend and ordered the cheese and ham platter as a starter. It was not inviting at all, complete let down. Low cost smoked hams and the cheese selection was not very good quality. From the Brie to the goats cheese. Then came my main dish, I ordered the Duck Confit with sautéed potatoes in duck fat. The dish itself was okay but lacked a sauce, it was too dry. When I complained to the waiter about this he responded with an attitude. Stating that that’s the way it’s served in France. Overall experience, I find it very pretentious and they need to get a wine menu printed.

Very good service, friendly waiter and chef, the endive salad with boursin is a must try, escargot lovers please taste their specialty its so full of taste

Nice french bistro in the heart of Ashrafieh. Both indoor and outdoor seating are cosy. We sat outside on one of their barrel shaped tables. The bread they serve at first, is soft and warm. We ordered a salade de chevre chaud (fresh and tasty), steak frites (ok) and magret de canard (very good). Our daughter got a complimentary (delicious) pasta with red sauce. It was our first time, but definitely won’t be the last. 🙂
