A great place with just the right amount of dim light diviness. I had a saying amongst friends: Good things always happen at Captain’s. The music is cool 60s, 70s and 80s rock (not exclusively). You pay cash and cash only. You can write on the wall for posteriority, I sure have, on multiple occasions 😀

Very authentic and the vibe the place gives you is amazing. I went there with a group of friends, we wanted to play pool but the owner was a bit rude to us. The cocktails were amazing though and the atmosphere in general is so chill.
I love this place. This place looks so much like a pub from a movie set. The inside is cozy, the seats are okay but the decor is really nice. It’s self service at the bar, we had beer and whisky they were very enjoyable. There’s a pool table and darts which add to the decor but also promote socializing. The music isn’t too loud so you can hang out with a bunch of friends and chat or play. However the bathrooms aren’t that clean. I would definitely go again.
One of Beirut’s few veteran dive bars, Captains is an institution. Zero thrills but a decent place to knock back a few beers or whiskeys; service tends to be friendly, though it can get a bit mobbed on weekend nights.
