Had a great experience at Doudou this evening for dinner! We tried multiple Chinese dishes paired with steamed rice, egg fried rice and noodles. We started with shrimps dynamite this is a 10/10 to die for you must try it , then we had the chicken wrap salad 10/10 what a great taste with cashews and that crazy full of taste salad , the sweetheart noodles are great and you will always crave for 10/10 , and at the end we had that crazy thing main dish which is the crispy duck oh wow come on you can’t stop eating 10/10 greattt if you haven’t try the the duck you must at doudou !

We tried Doudou on Friday night!What a great surprise!Lovely decoration with an elegant chinese ambiance!We tried two different appetizers:The dynamite shrimps and the doudou’s crab wontons.The shrimps were actually the best dynamite shrimps we‘ve ever tasted! The crab was good too. We loved the selection of 6 different sauces! All full of flavor!As for the main dish, we had the Mongolian beef and the Sweet and Sour Chicken with a side of chinese rice. Both were very delicious, made with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavors!Not to forget the great welcoming of the manager and the good service!Doudou is a real hidden gem of Ashrafieh!Very recommended!
After seeing it on Zomato, We placed an order from Doudou. Delivery time was good and the food was still warm. We tried:-Mongolian beef: very tasty, loved the meat quality. It just needed more sauce. -Chicken cashew: delicious, full of flavors-Kung Pao Shrimp: delicious! Generous with shrimps!-Dynamite shrimps: I didn’t like them, they were a bit oily and the sauce comes on the side. – Spring rolls: really good!Rice was cooked perfectly. Overall, amazing food and great delivery service. W’ll be going there for a dine in experience. Recommended!
I’ve never had chinese before and I heard this place got renovated so I decided to give this place a shot.What we ordered:1. Shrimp dumplings2. Dynamite shrimps3. Egg fried rice with corn4. Kung pao chicken5. Beef with black pepper6. Doudou’s crispy duck7. Beef with black mushroom and bamboo8. Chinese steamed fishPros and Cons:1. The waitress and manager were both super friendly and helpful. Since we’ve never had chinese they helped us choose what to eat.2. The dumplings were warm and chewy and had a tasty flavor.3. The dynamite shrimp is a MUST try. I have no words to describe just how I loved it. It’s not too spicy and very flavorful and the 3 sauces that come with it each give it a new unique flavor.4. The egg fried rice was the least favorite because we neither managed to feel the flavor of the egg nor did we manage to fell the flavor of the rice. It had too much vegetables that it only tasted corny.5. The kung pao chicken is just wow. The chicken is well cooked and the sweet n spicy sauce with the peanuts makes it a delicious combination.6. The beef with black pepper and the beef with black mushroom and bamboo both were very good. The meat was really tender and not chewy. The sauce and vegetables took the dishes to a whole new level. Especially the shiitake mushrooms alone had a unique flavor.7. The chinese steamed fish is a masterpiece. No doubt the sauce and vegetables are good but the fish alone is a beast. You don’t have to try to cut the fish it’s soooo tender that it’ll crumble just by holding it in your hand.8. I’ve never had duck meat before and now I’m in love with it. The duck came crispy on the outside and tender on the inside which gave off a splendid mix of textures. The sauce that came with it made it even tastier too.9. The prices are overall good compared to the portion and quality you get but you won’t exactly feel full. I think it’s because you don’t get any bread with your food except with the duck.Overall:The nice atmosphere and the good food make it worth going to Doudou to have a nice pleasant day with a bunch of friends.
I won an invitation through instagram. I ordered Seafood noodles & Panko shrimps. As you can see from the pictures, the portions are too big & the taste is as delicious as the looks. Prices are so fair and the place is affordable. The owner Tarek is so nice, friendly & professional. I enjoyed my experience and looking forward to go again!
