I went there Yesterday night. Poor welcoming. The food was fair, or i can say below fair, not the best though. The place was almost empty on a thursday night. I hope my next visit i would have a better experience. Not one of the best places.
Up until last week, this place was one of the most affordable and enjoyable places to be at. With the new management, they are now introducing an Arabic menu which is not at all in line with the image of l’Escroc or it’s atmosphere. The lighting now looks like that of a MacDonald’s or a hospital: white and bright neon lights that amputate the place from its initial coziness. I doubt I will come back here after having frequented l’Escroc for 20 years. The only good thing remaining is the waiters who are more than adorable: Sari, Johnny, Evan and of course Bob.
The waiter disrespected us to the point of where I thought he was paying us to eat and drink. This is one of the worst places i went to. It’s so old and ugly. The music and decoration are bad. Wouldn’t go there another time.
The food is so bad. The restaurant is old. The bathrooms are dirty. It was one of the worst places i’ve ever visited. And above all the waiters are so rude and disrespecting. If i could give a 0 star i wouldn’t have hesitated.
