Went to this place for lunch few days ago. Main dishes were amazing. The escalope / shrimps/ meat were really good. Unfortunately the starters and the desserts were really bad. Not tasty at all. Had the feeling the restaurant in general is not as good as before. Even the service was unprofessional as well.
Fancy old restaurant in downtown Beirut. Nicely decorated.The food is good especially the filet steak and escalope veal. The escalope is thin and super crispy, one of the best ever. Salads are fine the quinoa salad was very good. Positive vibes in the restaurant. Comfortable with a long bar on the sides and an outdoor seating near the pavement of the street.Professional waiters, however they kept hitting my chair everytime they passed by, which happened more than 25 times. Although I told them to stop bumping into my chair while passing by. But all in all it was ok.
