We went to YOKO today for lunch. To start, the place is very well located in downtown. It is beautifully decorated and has a nice bar inside. The terrace is very enjoyable. As for the food, we had the Tribeca bao and the Chinatown salad. The shrimp bao was the best. The salad was fresh and full of flavor! We also tried their sushis. We had the Hoso Maki mango, the dragon shrimps and the crispy California. The sushis were small but super tatsy! We also loved the desserts: mango rice pudding and fried banana caramel. So good!We loved it!Double the recommendation!

YOKO is one of those places where you either love it or hate it. Well, I loved it. Asian Lebanese fusion if that makes any sense to you. The menu offers things like makanek and Bizri and also offers sushi and few Thai favorites. I tried the cozy charming restaurant for the first time tonight. Reviews were good so I got excited. Menu was not large, yet in a good way. As I already mentioned, dishes were from the Far East and Lebanon. Schizophrenic in a nice kind of way that actually works. I tried the Bizre platter, it hit the right note. Spot on perfect. Not oily, crispy, not fishy, flavorful. It’s served with the traditional tahini sauce and some chili flakes. The Parmesan truffle fries were delightful. The portion looked small, yet as we ate into it, it seemed very filling and adequate. Shrimp crispy rolls were also delightful. Not the best I’ve had, yet not bad at all. Lemongrass chicken with a side of steamed rice. This tasted amazing. I love Thai food and this was the perfect balance between light and heavy. Very well prepared. My reservation was the steamed rice. It was very flavorless and a bit too overcooked. The only disappointment was the pad Thai noodles. A vegetarian dish that is supposed to be tart and sour from the use of tamarind. However it seems that YOKO’s version of this dish was prepared with teriyaki sauce. Waaaaay too sweet and unenjoyable. We complained to the waiter, and he was more than happy to replace it with something else. We declined his offer and he dropped it off the bill. I enjoyed YOKO a lot. Service was great and the food was very lovely, I can’t wait to go back. Recommended azizzada.wordpress.com

One of the best places I’ve recently been to.The place serves different cuisines, and literally owns them all! It’s really strange for a place to have the best makanik and also best Mongolian beef , sushi, noodles.we’ve tried a huge selection of their menu :-samak bezre-makanin-Salmon Teriyaki-sushi-curry Noodles-truffle fries-chicken ceasar salad-yoko healthy burgerThe food is extremely rich in flavors and tastes literally perfect! The service is great, and the ambience is chill and fun.We also had Japanese cheese cake as dessert, which was yumy as well!Definitely coming back again!

I went for lunch with Family! The food is incredibly awesome! What I loved was the makanek with this special twist, the fried sushi & the steak! What I didn’t like was nothing literally! Hats off for the awesome service & friendly waiter ❤️

Chic and elegant looking venue with both indoor and outdoor seatings.Friendly and attentive service.A versatile menu for all tastes. Real good ingredients used.Pretty looking and generous plates.Very very good tasting food from appetizers to mains to dessert.Don’t leave without trying the makanek, bizri(baby sardines), tempura shrimps and mushroom, and the Mongolian beef.Finish it off with crispy banana fritters with caramel icecream and a lemon sorbet.Very recommended!
