  I work in Downtown and I visited Monkey Bar yesterday for happy hour with my colleagues. The drinks were good but the service was a disaster. First the waiter was on his phone playing PubG the whole time. Second he didn’t even ask us if we have Zomato Gold and we noticed that it’s on Zomato Gold list this morning. Last but not least we paid the check and there was a 7,000 L.L change. The waiter decided on his own not to return the change and keep it as tips. Well maybe we didn’t want to tip him with 7,000??? And my friend asked him where’s the change he was very rude and told her oh I thought you didn’t want the change.

  Have been to Monkey bar twice and both times were great. Good service, friendly servers and knowledgeable bartenders. Food is also good. Will come back 🙂

  I love uruguay street and was glad to be back! I loved the music of this pub. As for the food, some items were written in the menu but they didnt have them. I ordered truffle fries that didnt have much truffle. Edamame were good. Portions are tiny. Bad value for money. Will come back for drinks not food.

  I miss Uruguay street good old days. And this pub is just amazing for happy hours or late night chills. The food is wonderful, especially the Bao section (a must try). I also loved the sweet potato chips. Staff are very friendly and prices are affordable.
