I dont know how long this place has been available for but i can recall it from over 20yearsAnd whenever we pass it reminds me of good old daysOver the years like any place things changeYet they maintained their delicious eclairs that are fluffy soft on the inside with the most delicious cream filling and their chocolate croissant is the best I’ve tried in the areaThey have plenty of other options birthday cakesThe service is always great and so welcoming
Let me start by saying that this is, hands down, one of the best cake bakeries!I’ve had the opportunity to work with La Griotte for my Blog’s 1 year anniversary and they Nailed it! We created a three layered cake, picture attached with the review,that was implemented with the finest details. The sugar work was so refined and fit the theme perfectly. The inside of the cake was a nutella crispy flavor which to was die for! So sweet yet simple! I would highly recommend working with La Griotte; they take your thoughts and burst in their creations!
Great cakes for all occasions. The design and execution of the cakes are flawless and the taste and freshness are not to be topped! The pieces of cakes are mouth watering and their price is just right. Guaranteed freshness and good value for money. Thumbs up.
A friend got us this cake to taste the delicious desserts of this place. The cake was so delicious. It was full of sweetness and flavors. I loved it. I would try this place again in the near future.
A bit under my expectations for a croissant lover myself. After reading few reviews i thought it is a hiddnn gem for croissants. Not the case for me. Place is popular and mainstream which is ok, but croissants are very bulky, and even heavy in the hand, you will feel bloated and full after two bites. I tried the cheese croissant and the chocolate one. Really heavy and lack refinement and delicatesse. I could not finish both of them. I can call them army style croissant made to make you feel full rather to endulge you in their taste. Especially the cheese one, it is loaded and cheese became one entity with the whole croissant, so it feels like one mould. The chocolate one has one big air tunnel inside it and you see the chocolate filling on the base below it, not so inviting to the eyes.Photos speak by themselves.
This place reminds me of my childhood. I used to go there at least twice a week. It is a really happy place with all the memories and the delicious sweets from the croissants to the tarte!
