This is my first time visiting Malolo, it was recommended by friend. I really have nothing good to say, the salmon was not that fresh, the rice is tasteless, the waiter should have recommended or suggested to add more sauce to my poke bowl, prices are not fair as well! I will not recommend it to my friends.

I am a huge poke fan and I’ve basically tried every poke place in town.Today I decided to try malolo.OK first of all, the positives:I ordered through toters and a man working in malolo automatically called me and said that they don’t have a certain ingredient. He was very helpful and super nice.The packaging is super attractive so hats off to that.The negatives:Portion size is considered small and not very generous for what we are payingHoneslty 20 dollars for a poke is quite expensive. Malolo is the most expensive and isn’t up to the standards taste wise.I would still choose other poke places over malolo
If you ever needed to follow advice from a stranger on Zomato – today would be the day. Do yourselves a favor and order poke from literally any place else. Delivery time was long. They called and told us 1 of the 4 bowls at random would not come with avocado (we had to go to the supermarket and get ourselves instead of them sending a delivery man to go get for the kitchen). They got the order wrong on 2 of the 4 bowls that we received. They forgot to send 1 of the sauces. The sauces that did come were unbelievably little. The rice was oddly both mushy and crunchy while completely tasteless. The only redeeming quality of this order was that the ingredients otherwise were fresh and tasted good. That being said, the bowl itself was the worst poke I’ve ever had in my life (owing to the terrible rice and lack of sauce). This place has great potential, but that’s all it has unfortunately. We all ended up not finishing our food and ordering from someplace else. You will likely end up doing the same.
I’m a huge fan of the poke concept. Malolo is one of the best in the area. I always order it as delivery since the place is quite small.Always arrives fresh and yummy 😉
We are trying poke places in Lebanon and unfortunately, Malolo was one of our least favorites. We ordered to sin el fil and received the order more than an hour after the call and the salmon wasn’t fresh.
You must try it , hawaiian restaurant friendly staff clean and cozy .. healthy food 5 stars at first sight .. great place first poke restaurant in beirut
