Em mirna and friend is a hidden gem in Hamra, a must visit. You feelLike at home, Em mirna, the owner, prepares the food and presents it by herself, shes very friendly and her food is definitely the best Lebanese food ive ever tasted! Price is very affordable, not to forget adding that the quantity is big!
Perfect service, and if you really want to enjoy a real home made Lebanese dish, it is the perfect place! Great ambiance, the food is delicious, and the owners are very open to discussion, good prices too! Cosy and antique restaurant, I recommend it!!
I consider em mirna and friends more a humble home more than a restaurant. It is a family business and em mirna cooks all dishes. In fact there is no menu. She comes, talk to you,open long discussion about her life and her daughters (waitresses) and propose what she can offer you. I recommend to order a plate called siré. It is an african chicken dish with peanuts. It is Very delicious. Fattoush is good too. You can order as well the steak plate.

Id suggest that this place be added to the hidden gems of hamra. Cosy place, weird decoration of furniture left overs, and a humble mom who comes and suggests the best items of her cooking. Family oriented, good food, affordable price. Much recommended.
