Honestly I was really disappointed !Hadn’t enjoy my experience and didn’t like the food.Hummus, labneh and mutabbal were horrible.My parents liked the raw meat, I liked the kebab, grilled chicken and pastries.The place wasn’t clean enough.
So we just went here today after visiting bneche lake then cedars. We where very hungry so my dad advised us to visit. We did . So if I were to judge this place on food alone its an easy 4/5 but well cleanliness was an issue as was forgetting foods and utensils. We had taboule , waraa inab ,hummus , potato and mixed grill. The portions very generous the tast was awesome but well some of the utensils were dirty and when the food came there were no plates no forks nothing had to go say sorry can I please have some plates 🙁 and we asked for soujouk they never made it to the table . Slow service but still friendly staff it was a good experience overall thou
After visiting Khalil Gebran museum and a great trip to the Cedars, we were looking for a typical Bcharre Restaurant as we were starving. We were told by the municipality guy that Al Shallal restaurant is good. The place is cozy, nice Al fresco seating facing the Shallal. The full service was managed by 3 young sisters and what a great enthusiasm they have. The place was full but they managed to serve us quickly. The food is an epic. Great goat raw meat, the best so far. The mezza were exquisite, the kebbe zghartawiyeh was awesome and the grills out of this world. Sometimes you are positively surprised to end up your day trip with a wonderful quality restaurant. The bill was half of what we usually pay. Hats off for this place. It needs to highly recognized.
