We had a very nice weekend while staying at Mon refuge hotel. The owners were really friendly and made us feel at home. Very generous people. The food was extremely delicious. The 3 bedroom chalet we rented was very clean and had this wood rustic feel of the Cedars.

I stayed there with my husband and friends for the weekend. Lovely family running the place, very friendly and always ready to help to ensure we have a lovely stay. The food was perfect. Nice atmosphere, clean and comfortable rooms. Great experience.I will fladely come back again !
We had a really nice stay at the hotel and enjoyed the late nights at the terrace. Mr. Joe is a very helpful and knowledgeable man of the area, he cited for us many of Gebran Khalil Gebran’s poems. The food was excellent and they were very friendlyDefinitely repeating this experience
I’ve long heard of this place in the region, but my experience was somewhat of a disappointment. Despite the amazing ambience and friendly waiters, the food quality and prices are disappointing. First of all, all hot appetizers and mains took ages to arrive, while the cold ones, prepared before, were served immediately. Also, the taste is not so good compared to the prices on them, and mostly the taouk dish, which was the biggest disappointment. The taouk were so few, not satisfying half my belly, and for high prices.
Its really unfair to compare all restaurants on the same scale on zomato . Honestly u cant compare a fine dining restaurant with a snack or whatever. Im saying that because mon refuge deserves 4 if compared to the cedars restaurants but 3 comparing to beirut’s. U feel like home. Needs improving. Nice people
