When the temperature rises, any ice cream shop will do the trick to cool off. I was told this old shop has some really good ice cream and they weren’t wrong. I took a cup of mixed flavors and they tasted authentic. The mint and bubble gum were so good together. Friendly service and very generous they made us sample almost everything before picking.

Nashawati has been for long serving the traditional artisanal Lebanese ice cream ( although they now serve some italian in a separate fridge) . The ice cream has a chewy texture which is ideal for the traditional lebanese one. However i have two comments: 1. The sugar content of the ice cream is a bit high 2. Prices are a bit far fedge, we paid 7, 000 LL ( equivalent to 5$) for a small cup of ice cream . Whereas the place is not in a very good status, so we were what this price is for,.
I remember enjoying their ashta mad2oo2a when i was pretty much younger. I was invited to a friend’s house in damoor and decided that nashawati icecream would be a great choice to get some icecream from.To start with the ashta roll used to be longer which made it look bigger and worth it. Now its more condensed and about half size (same weight, but the fact that it looked like it could feed 15-20 people and now it looks like it feeds 10 maximum) taking half a kilo of it would be the size of my hand, ktir bahdale! Knowing that we were 4 people and the kilo is too much, yet the half kilo looks too too small i decided to take a kilo of mixed icecream. For the flavors, they are not too sugary but they’re not very tasty either.
An old place with really good ice cream here and it’s my second time I pass by. They have delicious flavors, I loved the caramel and raspberry. You should try their Arabian selection, like ashta it tastes better!
