Best 3yun al maha in town.My favorite place for this specific kind of sweets! So moist, so tasty, amazingly made and just melts in the mouth. The other sweets are good. But 3yun al maha are their #1.

Gorgeous view as you sit close to the beach. The food is amazing. We ordered Foul, Hummus, Fatteh and Omelettes. The portions are big, served with fresh vegetables and hot pita bread. The service there is fairly quick and the staff are friendly.

  • Foodie Wan Kenobi

Average traditional place with a wide variety. I ordered some assorted baclava on the go. The western sweets are very commercial, nothing special there. The baclava were soaked in sugar syrup making them too dense for the taste but the baclava were fresh which were generously filled with pistachios and walnuts. Their service was good and staff were friendly.

An OK place for arabic sweets. Not the best in the market but if you’re on the way to Saida it would be a good choice. We had some of the namoora and the date filled sweets. They have a good type of nammoura that’s filled with pistachio. It was good but the majority tasted a bit old.

  • Amine Kanso

The country is flooded with shops that sell arabic sweets and most of them are way better than Gondoline. They use too much ater on the baklawa and maamool they become too sweet and you won’t be able to eat more than one piece. Their cakes are also cheap quality. I won’t recommend you buy from this place unless it’s your last and only choice.

  • Diala Mehanna

This place is on saida highway, at the same time a cafe and patisserie. The sweets taste good and the staff is highly friendly. Make sure you sit by the beach, where you will find a breathtaking view.

  • Follow My Crumbs

Al Gondoline has everything from Maamoul, to cake, to chocolate favors & lots more. The service was friendly & helpful. The owner offered us sweets to taste several times, which was generous. The prices are very affordable & the Maamoul is yummy.
