I’ll be very honest i didn’t give this place this bad rating because the food wasn’t good, the food was actually good but what ticked me off was the biased behaviour of the staff and owner with the clientele because as soon as someone important which is a public figure who goes on mtv showed up to eat at this restaurant he completely forgot our table and started to focus all their attention on the public figure. To me differentiating customers like that is the most unprofessional thing to do in a restaurant.
Tried this place for the first time after seeing all the foodies go there and try the delicious food . So i tried many items what was really really delicious to me was : manti , kabab karaz , batnjen rolls with labne in them and toshka the other items were ok , the place is small . So if you dont mind ending up smelling like bbq go for it and try it . Prices/ quantity :high
Beautiful and cozy restaurant. We ordered mhamara, roll batengen bil labne, kabab orfali, kabab karaz, rkakat sujok, suburg, Manti, doshka, hommus, and batata harra. Kabab karaz and roll batengen are the best. Portions are a bit small and a bit overpriced.
Absolutely loved my experience at Ohannes and would come back for sure! Service was quick and staff very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and portions very generous. So far the best Armenian cuisine i’ve had! each dish has its own special twist that makes it different from the ordinary dishes that we normally order! Chapeau bas for the chef for having a special identity in his food, it really shows! The place is so cozy, it was a wholesome experience, definitely coming back again
Hands down the best Armenian restaurant everrr! I’ve visited many armenian restaurants yet this hidden gem is the best by far! The place is very cozy and feels like home, service is fast and very friendly and of course the food is divine! The mante and cherry kabab are A MUST! Very very recommended, it’s my new favorite place! (3 visits in 2 weeks)
